Only 2 Slots For Ram
Is there a program that I can use to test the slots? Or maybe Im doing something wrong?

Oct 10, 2016 So if you get 2 x 8GB sticks and slot correctly will run in dual cahnnel. The potental issue is if 16GB is not enough. It is impossible to tell when that day will come. So buying a 2 slot Motherboard now may be saving you money now. If 16 GB is not enough then you need to get new memory completely. With 4 slots, just buy more memory if needed. Jan 26, 2013 In task manager for win8, i see that memory says slots used 1 out of 4, which is currently 4 GB, but when i opened my laptop i can only see two. It also says slot 1: empty; slot 2: empty; slot 3: 4.0 GB,1333 MHz; slot 4: empty. The ram is brand new from OCZ. I have 8gb of the same type of ram, and only the last two slots seem to work. When I put all 4 in or just first 2 the computer wont show a picture. I know 8gb prob.
